Belarus President: Any attack against Belarus will trigger World War III

WORLD, Sept. 18 (YPA) – Any attack on Belarus will mean the beginning of the Third World War, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said in a statement during a patriotic forum held in Minsk on 17 September.

Lukashenko warned his “opponents and rivals” and those who have not yet realized the implications, stating, “I want to warn our opponents, our rivals. And those who do not understand yet. Don’t do that. The attack on Belarus is the third World war.”

He added, “Under no circumstances should the Ukrainians, nor the Russians—who are aware of this—nor the Americans, who want to watch from across the ocean, do this.”

“We’ve been through all of that. Because we live in the epicenter at the crossroads of all ways,” he noted.

He continued, “We will do everything possible to ensure that there is no war on our land again… I assure you that we have what it takes to respond, and we have everything necessary to make them think twice before they move against us.”
