Zionist prisoners’ families: Netanyahu continues to thwart swap deal

OCCUPIED QUDS, Sept. 12 (YPA) – The families of the Zionist prisoners affirmed on Thursday that Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli occupation entity’s prime minister, continues to thwart the exchange deal instead of doing his duty to return the prisoners.

The families of the prisoners said in a media statement, reported by Hebrew media, that “the return of the prisoners is the responsibility of the government alone.”

They pointed out that “concluding an exchange deal is primarily an Israeli interest” and held Netanyahu and his government ministers responsible for abandoning the Israelis who are suffering in captivity.

The statement indicated that the last week had proved that military pressure does not save the prisoners but rather kills them, and that the only way to return the prisoners is to conclude an exchange deal. It stressed that “the popular struggle to return the prisoners will be escalated until they return to their homes.”

Thousands of Jews continue to demonstrate in Tel Aviv and other areas in the occupied Palestinian cities to demand the conclusion of an exchange deal with the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,”  accusing Netanyahu of obstructing reaching an agreement.
