Sanaa declares next Sunday official holiday

SANAA, Sept. 11 (YPA) – Sanaa-based Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development on Wednesday declared that the next Sunday will be an official holiday to mark the birthday of Prophet Mohammed,(peace be upon him).

The Mawlid al-Nabawi al-Sharif (the Prophet Mohammed`s Birthday) is a public holiday in Yemen, observed on 12 Rabi’ Al-Awwal 1446, the third month of the Islamic calendar.
