SHABWA, Sept. (YPA) – A tanker carrying a large quantity of oil derivatives got caught fire on Saturday in pro-Emirati factions-held Radhum district of oil-rich province Shabwa, east of Yemen.
According to local eyewitnesses, the fuel tank exploded after a huge fire broke out in the tanker near the Talbi Commercial Complex in the Ayn Bam’bad area of the district, rising smoke column that covered the sky of the area.
They confirmed that the flames completely devoured the tanker due to the lack of firefighting equipment in the area, without recording any human losses.
