Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi meets with chief, members of new government

SANAA, Aug. 15 (YPA) – Leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, met on Thursday with the chief and members of the newly-formed Government of Change and Construction.

During the meeting, Sayyed al-Houthi stressed that the formation of the government came under sensitive and exceptional circumstances.

He affirmed that the title of change and construction for the government shows the grave tasks and responsibilities entrusted to it.

The leader Abdul-Malik called on the Prime Minister and members of the government to be Allah-fearing and to feel responsible in serving the people as the greatest way to draw closer to Allah, noting that the importance of understanding and comprehending that the responsibility is one of the greatest trusts.

He urged the government the importance of adhering to moral and financial integrity, knowledge of the current status of state institutions, projects and programmes, and benefiting from the achievements of the past stage and its useful experiences.

Sayyed al-Houthi also stressed the importance of rationalization in expenditures and costs in light of the difficult conditions and limited revenues in the phase of comprehensive war, expressing hope that thinking about solutions would be creative and within the scope of the available capabilities and opportunities to address problems and overcome obstacles, when all work together as a single system.

Revolution’s leader called also for media discipline, especially from ministers and other officials, stressing the importance of focusing on reforming the economic situation by benefiting from investments, activating the private sector, and and ensuring the integration of roles in various economic entities.

He reiterated the importance of the government’s serious efforts, with all its ministries and institutions, to integrate with the people, whether through encouraging, mobilizing and supporting community initiatives or activating the private sector to participate in building the country.
