Yemen army launches offensive in Hodeidah, Jawf

SANAA, July 17 (YPA) – The Yemen army launched on Monday military operations on Saudi-backed militiamen gatherings and their military vehicles in Hodeidah and Jawf provinces, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Tuesday.

In Hodeidah, the army destroyed two military vehicles in the north of Tuhaita district in Western coast.

In Jawf,  artillery force of the army targeted gatherings of Saudi-backed militiamen in Mahamisha, causing direct casualties.

On Sunday, engineering unit of the army destroyed four military vehicles in border fronts and three in western coast, killing and wounding more than 30 militiamen.
