Sanaa comments on Dutch ship’s withdrawal from Red Sea

SANAA, Aug. 10 (YPA) – Sanaa-based deputy Foreign Minister, Hussein Al-Ezzi, commented on Friday on the withdrawal of the giant Dutch Support Ship ‘Karel Doorman’ from the Red Sea.

“Doorman leaves our sea and describes the battle of the Yemenis as extremely terrifying,” he said in a post on X.

Al-Azzi added: “We do not want to harm anyone in this world, but you came to defend the ships of the criminal Zionist entity that is practicing genocide against civilians in Gaza.”
He addressed the European countries, asking, “Why are you defending the criminal Netanyahu? This is a great disgrace.”

Earlier, the Dutch Ministry of Defense announced in a press release the withdrawal of the logistical support ship “Karel Doorman” after the end of the Royal Dutch Navy’s mission in the region, describing its participation in protecting Israeli ships in the Red Sea as “terrifying” due to the missile attacks by the Yemeni armed forces, indicating that its participation will remain with a number of staff officers and a political advisor at the operational headquarters in Larissa, Greece.
