GAZA, Aug. 07 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army issued evacuation orders to Palestinian citizens from several areas in the northern Gaza Strip, on Wednesday.
Palestinian sources reported that the occupation issued evacuation orders in the Beit Hanoun area and the neighborhoods of Al-Manshiya, Sheikh Zayed and the displaced people in the northern Gaza Strip.
Since this morning, the aforementioned area has witnessed a forced displacement movement after the occupation army demanded its evacuation.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said in a report last week that forced eviction orders issued by the occupation army have become a daily occurrence for the citizens of the Gaza Strip, who are forced to leave in order to save their lives.
The agency added that families are forced to move again and again, knowing that safety does not exist anywhere in the Gaza Strip.
UNRWA indicated that 83% of the Gaza Strip was placed under evacuation orders or classified by the occupation army as “prohibited areas”.
According to the latest statistics, the number of displaced people in Gaza Strip reached about two million, including 1.7 million living in Al-Mawasi area, west of the southern Gaza Strip, in poor and horrific living conditions, according to a previous statement by the International Humanitarian Aid Organization “Oxfam”.
