Palestinian Prisoner Wafa Jarar dies from injuries sustained during Israeli detention

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Aug. 06 (YPA) – The former Palestinian prisoner Wafa Jarrar has succumbed to her critical injuries during her detention by the Israeli occupation forces following the raid on her home in the Al-Marajah neighborhood in Jenin.

Earlier on Monday, Palestinian Prisoners’ Club and the Palestinian Authority announced the martyrdom of a Palestinian prisoner from Gaza due to torture at the “Sdeh Teyman” military detention center.

This brings the number of martyrs who have died since the beginning of the ongoing assault on the Gaza Strip to 21 prisoners.

It is noteworthy that the Jarar is the wife of the detainee Abdul Jabbar Jarar, 58, who has been administratively detained since February 2024.
