Money exchangers association in Hadramout declares full shutdown in province

HADRAMOUT, Aug. 04 (YPA) – The Money Exchangers Association in Hadramout province announced the closure of all banking sector branches in the eastern province from today, Sunday.

According to the association’s statement, the closure was due to concerns about the safety of staff, customers, and their money until security is restored in the region.

The statement stressed the importance of providing adequate guarantees from the relevant authorities that an armed attack on national banking facilities would not occur again.
