‘Palestinian resistance renews its cadres by recruiting new groups of fighters’: Military expert

GAZA, July 30 (YPA) – Military expert, retired Maj. Gen. Mamoun Abu Nawar, said that reports confirming that the resistance has renewed its cadres by recruiting new groups of fighters, which was previously announced by the military spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida.

Abu Nawar said in a news statement to Jordan24 that that the resistance has capable of continuing fighting for many years.

“The resistance’s reliance on a war of attrition and turning the battle into a war of cities will inevitably result in the defeat of the Israeli army, given the soldiers’ lack of willingness to fight such dangerous wars,” he added.

Abu Nawar affirmed that the military leadership knows that the solution in light of what is happening in Gaza must be political.

He explained that the resistance’s reliance also on qualitative operations, especially in the so-called Netzarim axis, the occupation army’s command center, and inside residential neighborhoods and densely populated areas, has led to big losses against the occupation.

Maj. Gen. Abu Nawar pointed out that the occupation army trying to assassinate leaders because it believes that this is the way to defeat the resistance, considering the announcement of the assassination of any leader in the resistance as a triumph.

“The occupation is trying to create a strategic depth for itself in several areas and axes throughout the occupied territories, in addition to the Philadelphia Axis, known as the Salah al-Din Axis, and control the Jordan Valley in occupied Palestine,” Abu Nawar explained, indicating that the presence of any forces in the Philadelphi Axis threatens Egyptian national security, and the occupation presence in the Jordan Valley will have repercussions on Jordan’s security as well, which will not be accepted by two countries.
