BEIRUT, July 30 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation launched an airstrike on Lebanon earlier this evening, targeting the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
The Mayadeen TV Channel reported that an Israeli strike targeted a residential building in the Southern Suburb of Beirut this evening, destroying a substantial section of the structure.
The strike targeted the Southern Suburb of Beirut, where at least one explosion was heard.
According to Al-Mayadeen TV, the strike targeted a residential building in Haret Hreik, resulting in the collapse of a substantial section of the structure.
The report mentioned that there were injuries, and ambulances are working to transport the wounded.
The Israeli attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut comes amid Israeli threats of a strike on Lebanon following the publication of misleading Israeli claims accusing the resistance of targeting Majdal Shams in the occupied Syrian Golan, which led to the death of several martyrs.
The Islamic resistance, in a statement, has denied the Israeli allegations in this regard.
On the other hand, the Israeli occupation announced through its media that the operation in response to Lebanon, which was based on the accusation of the “Majdal Shams strike in the Syrian Golan,” has concluded.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces have declared a state of alert in preparation for potential retaliatory strikes from the Islamic resistance in Lebanon.
