Abdul-Salam condemns attack on mosque in Muscat

SANAA, July 17 (YPA) – Head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, condemned on Wednesday the attack that targeted a mosque in the Omani capital, Muscat, and killed and wounded several people.

“We offered our condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and the good health to the injured,” Abdul-Salam said in a post on X, praising the role of Oman in maintaining security and social peace and its intolerance of any attempt to disturb the security of the country.”

On Tuesday, 4 people were killed and others injured in a shooting at the Wadi Al-Kabir area near the Imam Ali Mosque in the Omani capital Muscat, according to the Omani police.
