Floods sweep away militants of coalition on board two vehicles in Lahj

LAHJ, July 13 (YPA) – Torrential rains, on Saturday, swept away a number of coalition militants on board two coalition military vehicles in Lahj governorate, southern Yemen.

Informed media sources reported that torrential rains swept away a military vehicle belonging to the leader Wafi al-Quraishi, along with a group of his companions, and another vehicle belonging to a leader in the UAE-affiliated Southern Transitional factions in Wadi Bala of Al-Mallah area in Radfan district.

The sources explained that citizens were able to rescue a number of recruits who were on board the two vehicles, while the search is still underway for 3 missing persons who were swept away by torrents to unknown places.

The sources attributed the accident of the two vehicles being swept away to the recklessness of their drivers, amid repeated incidents of citizens’ cars being swept away as a result of torrential rains flowing.
