GAZA, July 08 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health warned of the continuing fuel crisis that threatens hospital generators in Gaza, which may cause the death of critical cases, especially in the Nasser Medical Complex, the only hospital for the Khan Yunis and Rafah governorates in the southern Gaza Strip.
The ministry indicated in a statement, on Monday, a copy of which was received by the Palestinian Information Center, that it is following procedures severe austerity in the face of the distillation policy in supplying very little quantities of fuel.
For his part, the head of the pediatric department at Nasser Medical Complex, Dr. Ahmed Al-Farra, said that there are many critical cases in the intensive care department that need oxygen on a regular basis.
Al-Farra stressed that these cases require oxygen around the clock, and everyone knows that there is a fuel crisis, and this affects the oxygen operating station at any moment.
