Military expert: “Netanyahu” dives into sands of Rafah

AMMAN, July 08 (YPA) – Military and strategic expert, Maj. Gen. Fayez Al-Duwairi, said that the battles taking place between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation forces in the Al-Shujaiya quarter have reflected well the operational and tactical performance of the resistance.

Fayez Al-Duwairi affirmed that Abu Ubaida, the spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, referred in his speech to the improved performance of its fighters in the battles of Shujaiya.

Al-Duwairi said, in an analysis of the military scene in Gaza, that the military leaders of the occupation forces are proposing now a more different approach than the politicians, as they expressed their willingness to accept the current situation and go to any deal with the Palestinian resistance for stopping the war in the Gaza Strip.

He stated that the current reality was embodied by Abu Ubaida in his speech that affirmed that the resistance fighters have been fighting the occupation forces for 9 months without any external supplies, while the occupation army said has a shortage of ammunition despite receiving its continuous external support.

Al-Duwairi explained that Abu Ubaid’s focus in his speech on the Netzarim axis in central Gaza is due to that the axis has far-reaching political goals, stressing that the Israeli occupation army intends to remain in 3 areas of Gaza, the Netzarim axis, the Philadelphia axis, and the agricultural area, but it is to be subjected to a war of attrition by resistance fighters.

In his speech, Abu Ubaida threatened the occupation forces with terror and killing in the Netzarim axis, and the enemy to emerge from it defeated.
