Israeli “Shin Bet”: Prisons contain 21,000 Palestinian detainees

OCCUPIED QUDS, July 02 (YPA) – The Israeli Prison Service has said that it has received more than 5,000 Palestinians who have been arrested in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank since October 7.

The Israeli Prison Service added that it received 500 detainees from the Sde Teman military facility last month at the request of the army.

The Prison Service revealed that it had implemented an accelerated construction project for new detention places, adding 2,500 places to security prisons and providing 900 new places of detention.
