Several Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza ambush

GAZA, July 01 (YPA) – Al-Qassam Brigades announced that its fighters managed on Monday to target a Zionist force holed up inside a house in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Al-Qassam said in a statement the soldiers were attacked with a “TBG” shell, leaving the force members dead and wounded.

The statement affirmed that a Zionist soldier was shot dead inside a house in the Shuja’iya quarter, and two Zionist “Merkava 4” tanks were targeted with two “Shawaz” bombs in the same neighborhood.

In Rafah, the Al-Qassam said that its fighters could able to lure a Zionist force into a booby-trapped house that was used in the recent sniping operation east of the city, killing or wounding among the soldiers.
