SANAA, July 01 (YPA)- The National Center for Meteorology renewed its warnings to citizens about a heat-wave in desert and coastal areas of Yemen.
In its weather bulletin on Monday, the center explained that the weather in the maximum temperatures may reach 41-46 degrees Celsius, while winds will be strong and moderate that stir up dust and sand.
Seafarers, fishermen, and ship captains are warned of the high waves and sea turbulence around the Socotra Archipelago, the eastern and southern coasts, and the Gulf of Aden.
It stated the winds will be strong around the Socotra Archipelago, exceeding 45 knots at times, and moderate to sharp winds on the eastern and southern coasts and the Gulf of Aden.
