UAE-funded STC launches arrest campaign in Aden city

ADEN, June 29 (YPA) – The UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions launched an arrest campaign in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.

Local sources affirmed that the campaign targeted a number of citizens, including members of the al-Amaliqa forces (Giants), after storming their house.

The sources said that the STC elements arrested Ali Abdullah Al-Amoudi with his son on Friday in the Mansoura area, after storming his house the shooting of bullets by the emergency commander of the UAE-backed Security Belt factions, Abdullah Al-Fanjari, at Al-Marasim Restaurant last week.

The kidnapping of a number of Al-Amoudi’s family came after members of the STC’s Security Belt stole Al-Amoudi’s car last week and caused confrontations inside the restaurant.

One of the companions of the Al-Fangari leader accused of stealing Al-Amoudi’s car and breaking out clashes, which caused losses in the cars of citizens and nd a state of panic and terror among the women and children present in the area.
