30 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on two UNRWA schools in Gaza

GAZA, June 25 (YPA) – More than 30 Palestinian civilians, including many children and women, were killed and dozens more were injured on Tuesday morning in a series of Israeli attacks on various areas in the Gaza Strip, targeting two UNRWA schools.

According to Palestinian sources, the 263rd day of the aggression has seen dozens of casualties, including fatalities and injuries, in the bombing of Khan Younis, Maghazi refugee camp, andthe Al- Shati refugee camp in southern Gaza.

The sources added that fatalities and injuries were reported in an Israeli bombing of two UNRWA schools, one in the Al-Shati refugee camp and the other in Deraj neighborhood in Gaza City.

The Civil Defense announced that its teams had recovered five bodies, including children, while another number of fatalities and wounded were evacuated by civil defense vehicles after an Israeli attack on the “Asma” school, which shelters displaced persons in the Al- Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City.

In addition, Civil Defense teams recovered six bodies from the Israeli targeting of Abdel Fattah Al-Hamoud School in Yafa neighborhood in Gaza City.

Meanwhile, Civil Defense teams in Gaza recovered the bodies of two women and evacuated several wounded from an Israeli attack on the Zamel family home in Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City.

The Israeli occupation targeted Rafah’s western suburb south of the Gaza Strip with air raids, artillery fire, and tank shells.

Earlier in the night, a young man was killed and others were injured as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted Tala Al-Sultan west of Rafah south of the Gaza Strip.
