Yemeni Armed Forces release footage of “Toofan-1” drone boat

SANAA, June 21 (YPA) -The Yemeni Armed Forces published photos of the “Toofan-1” (Flood) drone boat that was used to sink the “Tutor” ship last week .

The Toofan-1 drone boat is locally-manufactured and carries a warhead weighing 150 kg and is distinguished by its high speed, maneuverability, and stealth capability.

It reaches a speed of 35 knots and specializes in targeting fixed and moving nearby maritime targets.

The “Toofan-1 drone boat represents a qualitative step in the local weapons industry, showcasing advanced capabilities within the navy’s development of sophisticated weaponry.

It greatly improves naval capabilities and acts as a powerful deterrent against any enemy trying to provoke aggression in territorial waters.
