Third Zionist minister resigns

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, June 10 (YPA) – Minister Chili Tropper from the National Unity Party submitted his resignation from the government, following the recent resignations of Gantz and Eisenkot.

Earlier on Sunday evening, Israeli war cabinet member Gadi Eisenkot announced his withdrawal from the war cabinet.

In his resignation letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Eisenkot stated: “The government’s decisions and your personal decisions are made for political considerations.”

He added, “The war cabinet under your leadership has refrained from making important decisions necessary to achieve the war’s objectives and improve Israel’s strategic situation.”

Eisenkot emphasized in his letter to Netanyahu that “the war cabinet under your leadership has refrained from making important decisions necessary to achieve the war’s objectives, which has harmed the state’s security and strategic situation.”

He clarified that he would continue to support any correct government decision that serves the state’s interest.

Eisenkot’s resignation came shortly after the resignation of war cabinet minister Benny Gantz for the same reasons.
