Citizens injured in Taiz armed attack

TAIZ, June 06 (YPA) – Four people were injured on Thursday in an armed attack targeting a party organized by UAE-funded Tariq Afash, a nephew of the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh, in Taiz province, southern Yemen.

Local sources familiar with the matter said a gunman loyal to Islah Party opened fire randomly on a gathering of loyalists raising pictures of “Afash” during the ceremony to open one of main roads in the Bardad area in the Sabr Al-Mawadim district.
