Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi threatens “Eisenhower” with more operations

SANAA, June 06 (YPA) – One of the most prominent and important operations that the Yemeni armed forces carried out twice was against the US aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” in the northern Red Sea within 24 hours.

This came during a weekly speech that the leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, made on Thursday about the Yemeni military operations supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi explained that “Eisenhower” was targeted with 7 winged missiles and 4 drones, which had led to suspending air traffic for two days.

He pointed out that after the aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” had been targeted twice, it came back towards the northern Red Sea for fear of being targeted again by Yemeni armed forces.

“The Eisenhower was 400 km from the borders of the Yemeni coast during the targeting, then it moved away to about 880 km northwest of Jeddah,” Sayyed al-Houthi, indicating that the operation against it was successful.”

Leader Al-Houthi confirmed that the American warships escaped and changed their course, which proved the success of the targeting operation, and this was evident at the level of monitoring through available technologies.

He continued, saying: “The American has tried to deny targeting Eisenhower, and this is due to his embarrassment and feeling of defeat and loss of his prestige,” noting that America’s keen to maintain its influence and prestige among the countries of the region.

The leader of the Yemeni revolution vowed that the US aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” would remain a target of the Yemeni armed forces whenever the opportunity arises.

He stated that the Yemeni military operations in support of Gaza during the month of Dhuʻl-Qiʻdah, May 2024, amounted to 38, in the Red and Arab Bahrain and the Indian Ocean, in addition to the Mediterranean Sea and southern occupied Palestine, using 91 ballistic and winged missiles and drones.
