Several American states witness demonstrations of solidarity with Palestine

WASHINGTON, June 03 (YPA) – Activists in several American states organized on Monday marches and demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinian people and to protest the occupation’s crimes against citizens in the Gaza Strip.

In New York, a protest march was held in which university and school students participated, to protest the continuation of the war and to denounce the police’s suppression of protesting students in universities and schools.

Students left the annual graduation ceremony of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in protest against the institute’s administration’s failure to respond to their demands to stop cooperating with companies that support the Israeli occupation.

Hundreds of University of Chicago students also left their graduation ceremony, to support the students whose degrees were withheld as a result of their participation in pro-Palestine protests on campus.

A number of activists staged a sit-in in protest in front of L3Harris Technologies, a technology company that supplies the occupying entity with components for military aircraft.

In the same context, thousands of activists participated in a march in solidarity with the Palestinian people in North Carolina.

Activists organized a march of vehicles carrying the Palestinian flag and pictures of martyred children in Gaza, inside the corridors of Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta, one of the busiest airports in the world, to protest the continuing war on Gaza.
