Al-Qassam Brigades declare arrest of leader of southern brigade in Gaza Division

GAZA, May 23 (YPA) – Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, announced on Thursday that the commander of the Southern Brigade in the Gaza Division of the occupation army, Major General Assaf Hamami, was captured on the seventh of last October.

Al-Qassam said in a video clip it published on its account, on the “Telegram” platform, “Hamami was injured during his arrest, and that his leadership is leaving its army leaders in captivity”.

Al-Qassam wondered about the fate of Major General Hamami and the brigades said in a message to the leadership of the occupation army that “time is running out” for them.
