Citizens killed in Hadramout confrontations

HADRAMOUT, May23 (YPA) – About two citizens were killed on Thursday in armed confrontations that broke out between militants in the center of the city of Al-Qattan of the coalition-held Hadramout province in eastern Yemen.

Local sources said that the clashes between gunmen riding in three cars in the middle of the city of Al-Qattan, which led to the killing of two citizens and causing damage to the city’s electricity tank.

The pro-coalition factions -controlled southern provinces are witnessing unprecedented security
chaos due to the absence of state authorities since the beginning of 2016.
