Israeli occupation forces raid Nablus

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, May 19 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, storming several neighborhoods, commercial shops, and residential homes.

According to Palestinian sources, a number of Israeli military jeeps raided Nablus amidst the presence of surveillance drones over several areas of the city.

Occupation soldiers forcefully stormed several stores and currency exchange shops, conducting thorough searches and confiscating various items.

Confrontations erupted between locals and the Israeli forces during the raid, eyewitnesses said.

The occupation soldiers reportedly fired live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas canisters, and stun grenades during the confrontation.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or injuries resulting from the confrontations.
