Palestinian civilians, including journalist, killed in series of series of Israeli airstrikes, heavy artillery shelling on Gaza Strip

GAZA, May 19 (YPA) – A number of Palestinian citizens, including a journalist, were killed, and others were injured early this Sunday morning in a series of series of intense Israeli airstrikes and heavy artillery shelling struck the Nuseirat, Bureij, and Jabalia refugee camps, as well as the towns and cities of Beit Lahia, Rafah, and Gaza City.

According to Palestinian sources, three civilians were killed and others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on a house north of Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza Strip.

Moreover, Journalist Abdullah Al-Najjar was among those killed after being targeted by an Israeli airstrike in the town of Jabalia, northern Gaza.

Furthermore, several civilians were killed and injured when Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Shahin family in Gaza City.

In northern Gaza, several areas in Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza Strip further witnessed heavy artillery shelling, resulting in more casualties among civilians.
