Al-Qassam Brigades kill 12 Israeli soldiers in Jabalia

GAZA, May 15 (YPA) – The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced on Wednesday the killing of 12 Israeli soldiers in a complex operation in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

In a press statement on Wednesday, Al-Qassam said that in a complex operation in the “Block 4” area of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, Al-Qassam mujahideen targeted a “D9” military bulldozer with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell, and a Zionist force holed up inside a house was targeted with two anti-personnel shells and clashed with it. As soon as the rescue force advanced to the place, a “Shawaz” device was detonated in a “Merkavah” tank.

After an attempt to withdraw the target force’s equipment lying on the ground, the Zionist Air Force barbarically bombed the place, confirming that at least 12 Israeli soldiers were killed in the operation.

The brigades added that the Israeli occupation is withdrawing its destroyed equipment with air cover.

Al-Qassam also confirmed its control over a “Zionist drone west of the Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.”

On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation army admitted that 28 soldiers were injured in the battles in the Gaza Strip during the past hours, some of them seriously.
