Sanaa reveals great temptations to abandon to Gaza support

SANAA, May 07 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat affirmed on Tuesday that Yemen has received great temptations by America to stop the decision supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.

This came during his participation in a military maneuver in the presence of the most senior leaders of the state and government in Sanaa, to inaugurate a general mobilization and raising readiness and preparing for the fourth stage of escalation.

“We reject these temptations because they conflict with our religion, values and principles,” he said.

Al-Mashat stressed the importance of training and qualification for all the Yemeni people, including the state leaders, in preparation for any possibilities or confrontation with the forces of hegemony and arrogance.

He pointed out that the awareness of the people and the leadership in facing this challenge is the safety valve to thwart the enemy’s conspiracies.

“The enemy, after its failure in the military confrontation, has other policies in the battle, the weapon of which is awareness and purging state institutions of infiltrators and agents whom the enemy will work to stir up the internal situation,” Al-Mashat went on to say. “It will stand as an impenetrable barrier in thwarting these conspiracies.”

He added: “We will go on the journey, with our people and our leadership, until the liberation of the entire national territory of our country and until the siege and injustice imposed on our people in Gaza is lifted.”
