FAO warns of tropical cyclone in Gulf of Aden Arabian Sea

NEW YORK, May 07 (YPA) – A UN report has predicted that a tropical cyclone will occur in the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea during this month.

The early warning bulletin issued by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) warned of a summer season threatening long-term floods in the coming days (May 1–30, 2024).

According to the media in Aden, it is expected that a hurricane will occur in the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea in the period from May to June 2024.

So it is strongly recommended to tighten surveillance, focusing on frequent and effective early warnings and proactive preparedness measures.
