Gold prices continue declination in Sanaa, Aden markets
SANAA, May 06 (YPA) – Gold prices in Yemen continued on Monday to decline gradually since late last week, after an upward journey that lasted for more than a month, affected by the rising of the yellow metal in global stock markets.
Sources working in the Goldsmiths’ markets said that the price of the gold pound declined to 883,000 thousand riyals in the city of Aden, while in the capital Sana’a declined to 270,000 thousand riyals.
The last update of prices in the goldsmith shops in the capital Sanaa, according to the “Yemen Economist” website, is as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase = 33,000 YER, Sale = 35,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 266,000 YER, Sale = 270,000 YER.
The updated gold prices in the goldsmith shops in Aden are as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase = 108,000 YER, Sale = 113,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 868,000 YER, Sale = 883,000 YER.
