US Air Force F-16 fighter jet crashed in New Mexico

WAHINGTON, May 01 (YPA) – A US Air Force F-16 fighter jet crashed near Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, the American Fox News network reported on Wednesday.

“Emergency rescue crews and the Military Air Force are responding to an F-16 fighter jet that crashed outside Holloman Air Force Base near White Sands National Park in New Mexico,” According to local media outlets.

Initial reports indicated that the circumstances of the accident were not clear, but reports indicate that the pilot went out the plane safely and was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries, and an investigation into the accident are underway.

This is the third accident involving an US F-16 aircraft during the past six months.
