Health in Gaza warns of spread of diseases, epidemics due to sewage overflow

GAZA, April 24 (YPA) – The Ministry of Health in Gaza warned on Wednesday of the spread of diseases and epidemics as a result of sewage overflowing in the streets and among the tents of the displaced.

According to the Palestinian Ma’an Agency, the Ministry of Health said that a number of cases of meningitis and hepatitis were detected, pointing out to the lack of potable water.
