Protests held across world denouncing Zionist aggression on Gaza
WORLD, March 10 (YPA) – Several capitals and cities across the world witnessed massive protests on Saturday, demanding an immediate halt to the ongoing Israeli war of genocide on Gaza and urgent relief efforts for the people of Gaza who are experiencing a severe famine.
In the British capital of London, a demonstration started from Hyde Park in the heart of the city and moved towards the south to the American Embassy, drawing participants from various cities across the country.
Protestors raised banners calling for an end to the aggression on Gaza, holding the Israeli occupation forces accountable for their crimes, and calling for the urgent delivery of aid to civilians in the besieged enclave. The chants of “Free Palestine” echoed among the crowd.
In Paris, thousands took to the streets to demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the facilitation of aid to the trapped civilians. Protestors decried the genocidal war waged by Israel against the people of Gaza and the international silence over Israeli crimes. They urged the United States and Western countries to stop the delivery of weapons to Israel.
Organizers of the demonstration in Paris also made a direct appeal to President Emmanuel Macron, urging him to adopt a clear and firm stance to end the tragedy in Gaza.
In Copenhagen, Denmark, dozens rallied to demand the cessation of the war on Gaza, chanting for humanitarian aid to be allowed into the area and for an end to the famine affecting its residents. They also condemned the targeting of civilians and the destruction of civilian infrastructure in Gaza.
A similar demonstration took place in Aarhus, Denmark, in support of Palestine and Gaza.
Sweden saw significant protests as well, with the city of Borås hosting a large demonstration in solidarity with Gaza. The situation was mirrored in Kristianstad in the southern part of the country, where protestors denounced the Israeli aggression and the attacks on Gaza.
Participants waved Palestinian flags and carried slogans denouncing violence and calling for an end to the aggression against Palestinians.
In Milan, Italy, the Palestinian community broadcasted a live stream on Facebook of a demonstration on Saturday afternoon, condemning the ongoing Israeli war and the massacres committed against Palestinians, in a strong show of support for Gaza. The Italian public’s participation underscores the international concern over the events unfolding in the Middle East.
In Hannover, Germany, saw a massive demonstration on Saturday, reiterating solidarity and support for the Palestinian people and condemning the Israeli aggression on Gaza. The march through the city streets was filled with fervor, blending voices of solidarity with slogans condemning Israeli violence and calling for a halt to the aggression. Demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and banners expressing condemnation and solidarity.
In Berlin, Germany’s capital, also witnessed a demonstration in support of Palestine and Gaza, adding to the growing voice against the violence inflicted upon Gaza and its residents.
