HADRAMOUT, March 07 (YPA) – Dozens of teachers from Hadramout districts organized a protest rally against the poor living conditions in the province.
In the rally, staged in front of the Education Office in the city of Mukalla, the center of the province, the participant called on the coalition-backed Aden government to disburse their salaries on a regular basis in light of the high cost of living and the collapse of the local currency.
The teachers renewed their demands to adopt annual bonuses for members of the educational sector.
The raised banners expressing their suffering as a result of the economic collapse, denouncing the low wages without any action from the “government.”
The protesters confirmed their protests to be continued against the starvation policy that the coalition implemented against the people of oil-rich province, noting that they have become unable to provide their families’ needs with even the bare minimum.
