Clashes leave three wounded in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 28 (YPA) –  Heavy clashes erupted on Wednesday morning between security factions loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen’s southern Port city of Ade.

According to the sources, the clashes took place in the Al-Haswa area between forces from the “Security Belt Forces”  and others from the Aden Security Emergency Unit.

The source pointed out that the clashes resulted in the burning of a vehicle in addition to the injury of three people from both sides.

Security forces were deployed around the Palace Hotel and blocked the road for more than an hour.

It is believed that the two factions are affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).
