Anarallah Member: Negotiations with Saudi Arabia are continuing at a high pace

SANAA, Feb. 27 (YPA) – Member of Ansarallah Political Bureau, Ali Al-Qahoom, confirmed on Tuesday that negotiations with Saudi Arabia are continuing at a high pace to achieve peace, a ceasefire, lift the siege, complete humanitarian files, the exit of foreign forces, address economic conditions, and reconstruction.

Al-Qahoom said in a statement to Al-Mayadeen TV on Tuesday, “The door to peace is open, our hands are extended for peace, and we are ready for it, and the priority is to fully address the repercussions of the war.”

He pointed out that “Saudi Arabia is somewhat slow because there is clear American pressure on Riyadh, as it does not want peace to be achieved.”
Al-Qahoom advised the Saudis to “seize the opportunity and achieve peace, because the Americans want to involve them in the Yemeni file.”

Regarding the issue of re-opening roads in Yemen, he explained that “Ansarallah was the one who took the initiative to open the Taiz road, and we do not mind opening the roads, but according to a clear mechanism that guarantees the passage of people, as there are mines there.”

He added, “Those who blocked these roads were the circumstances of war and the battles that took place on those roads, and we call on those who are on the other side to neutralize these roads for humanitarian reasons and for the opening of these roads to be an internal national decision without Saudi and Emirati hegemony.”

Al-Qahoom also called on all Yemeni parties to dialogue in Sanaa, confirming Sanaa’s readiness to extend the hand of dialogue to all under the umbrella of Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi and under national unity and national constants to confront the challenges and dangers facing the country and the colonial conspiracies.

Regarding the aggression against Yemen, Al-Qahoom confirmed that “Yemen is in an open battle with America and Britain because they attacked its sovereignty and carried out aggression in all its forms against the Republic of Yemen, both on land and on people.”

“An attack on Yemen is not an easy matter, and they must suffer strikes and pay a heavy price because our sovereignty and independence are a red line,” he said.

Al-Qahoom pointed out that what is happening in Palestine “unites the Yemeni people” and causes them to go out in massive rallies, affirming that “the conspiracy is huge against all Arab and Islamic peoples, and there is Yemeni awareness of the extent of this conspiracy.”
