GAZA, Aug. 02 (YPA) – Hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours recorded seven new deaths due to starvation and malnutrition, including one child.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Saturday that the total number of famine victims has risen to 169, including 93 children.
The ministry confirmed that the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip continues to worsen due to the blockade and shortages of food and medical supplies. “We renew our call for the international community and relief organizations to intervene immediately and urgently.”
This morning, Saturday, a boy from Gaza died due to malnutrition and hunger, which the Gaza Strip is suffering from due to the tight blockade and the Israeli occupation’s prevention of the entry of food and humanitarian aid.
Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza announced the death of 17-year-old Atef Abu Khater as a result of starvation and malnutrition.
