Meteorology renews its warnings of sea turbulence

SANAA, Feb. 23 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology renewed on Friday its warnings to seafarers and fishermen south of the western coast and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab about sea turbulence.

The center affirmed in its weather forecast that the weather will be clear and cold in mountain highlands of the provinces of Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda and Saada, and Ibb.

It indicated to partly cloudy weather with very active winds ranging in speed between 20 to 30 knots on the south of the western coast, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the western Gulf of Aden.

The atmosphere is generally clear in desert areas, and the winds may be moderate, reaching speeds between 08 to18 knots.
