UK new ship targeted in attack at Aden Gulf
SANAA, Feb. 15 (YPA) – The naval forces of the Yemeni armed forces carried out on Thursday a qualitative military operation against the British ship ‘LYCAVITOS’ in the Gulf of Aden.
In a news statement, the military spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, affirmed that the ship was accurately targeted with suitable naval missiles.
He said that the operation came in triumph of the oppressed Palestinian people, and in support and solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The spokesman stressed the Yemeni Armed Forces’ military operations will continue to enforce a blockade on Israeli navigation in the Red and Arab Seas until a ceasefire is achieved and a siege is lifted in the Gaza Strip.
Within the right of legitimate defense of Yemen, General Yahya Sarie, said that the Yemeni armed forces will take further procedures in retaliation to the American-British aggression and in confirmation of their practical position in support of the Palestinian people.
He called on all free and honorable people of the Arab and Islamic nations to take serious practical positions in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip to confront the America and Britain-supported Zionist crimes.
