“Doctors Without Borders”: Israeli occupation’s attack on Rafah will be disastrous

PARIS, Feb. 12 (YPA) – “Doctors Without Borders” said on Monday that “the ground attack announced by the Israeli occupation on Rafah will be disastrous, and called for it to be stopped immediately.”

The organization added, in a press statement, that “there is no safe place in Gaza, and forced displacement has pushed people to Rafah while they are besieged and have no options,” according to the Palestinian News Agency, “Wafa.”

The statement pointed out the enormous needs of citizens in the Gaza Strip and that the situation in the Strip requires a humanitarian response on a much larger scale.

The organization called on all supporting governments, including the United States, to take concrete measures for a ceasefire.
