In Video: STC head confesses of UAE’s involvement in carrying out assassinations in central Aden

ADEN, Jan. 22 (YPA) -The BBC Arabic channel will broadcast on Tuesday an investigative report on the role of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the assassination operations that took place in the city of Aden and other southern provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition in recent years.

The investigative report, titled “American Mercenaries: The Missions of Assassinations in Yemen,” prepared by journalist Nawal Al-Maqhafi over four years, publishes confessions from a number of American mercenaries admitting that the Emirati government provided them with a list of names of the targeted victims.

The investigation sheds light on the methods and techniques used by the American forces hired by the UAE to carry out assassination operations in Aden.

The promo showed Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the head of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), as one of the figures subjected to the investigative questioning, amidst accusations of the involvement of the STC in carrying out assassination operations against opponents of the Emirati presence in the midst of Aden.

The investigative report includes live testimonies from several survivors of assassination attempts, and it is expected to reveal the details and secrets of the assassinations that targeted dozens of political, military, and security figures, as well as several mosque preachers in Aden.
