Israeli occupation warplanes launch series of airstrikes on Gaza

GAZA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – Israeli occupation warplanes at dawn today launched a series of airstrikes on several areas across Gaza Strip, targeting the western area of the city and Khan Yunis city.

The occupation fighter jets bombed], with several missiles, the Bureij camp, causing partial damage. They carried out intense artillery shelling of the western areas of Gaza City, coinciding with the ongoing Israeli tanks and military vehicles incursion into the eastern area.

The occupation forces carried out fierce and intense airstrikes in the areas between the eastern Khan Yunis and Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip, coinciding with the heaviest artillery shelling on Khan Yunis since the beginning of the aggression.

Moreover, the occupation warplanes further shelled several homes in the Qizan Rashwan area, south of Khan Yunis, and leveled the homes to the ground.

At least 12 citizens, including three children and a woman, arrived dead at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis following an Israeli airstrike.

The occupation air forces also bombed the eastern neighborhoods of Al- Shejaeya and Al-Daraj in the Gaza Strip.

The number of Palestinians killed since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7th has risen to about 25,105, while 62,681 were injured, the majority of whom are women and children. Thousands are still missing under the rubble.
