Supreme Political Council in Sanaa: US classification of Ansarallah only serves Zionist entity
SANAA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – The Supreme Political Council in Yemen said that the American decision to classify Ansarallah only came as a service to the Zionist entity so that it continues to kill the Palestinian people without any response or annoyance.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the Council commented on the US administration’s classification of Ansarallah on the so-called terrorist list: “This confirms that the US administration is determined to continue supporting the Zionist entity in its brutal war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.”
The Council also affirmed that “Ansarallah is an authentic Yemeni component and part of the Yemeni people who are united in supporting the Palestinian people.
The statement stressed that “the American classification decision will not be effective on the ground and will not dissuade the Republic of Yemen from its firm and supportive position for the Palestinian people.”
The Council considered the American classification decision an affirmation of the effectiveness and impact of the Yemeni position aimed at stopping the Zionist aggression and providing sufficient aid to the people of Gaza.
The Supreme Political Council’s statement pointed out that this American classification would increase the Yemeni people’s rally around the leadership.
The Council’s statement also called on all the people of the Islamic nation to condemn and confront this American decision and to cooperate at all levels to expel the Americans from the region.
