Hamas condemns Germany’s intention to supply “Tel Aviv” with 10,000 artillery shells
OCCUPIED QUDS, Jan. 18 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” denounced on Wednesday Germany’s intention to agree to send about 10,000 artillery shells to the Israeli occupation army.
Hamas said in a statement on Wednesday that this step “turns Germany into a direct partner in the war against our people in Gaza.”
The statement held Germany fully politically and morally responsible for the war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation and the genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas stressed that the Palestinian people “will not forget and will not forgive anyone who participated in the aggression against them or gave cover to this criminal enemy who violated all taboos.”
The German magazine “Der Spiegel” revealed on Tuesday that government departments in Germany had approved an Israeli request to obtain 10,000 precision-guided 120-millimetre artillery shells.
The newspaper indicated that the German government “is considering supplying Israel with missiles to support it in fighting Hamas in Gaza, after the relevant departments approved Tel Aviv’s request.”
