Iraqi resistance renews its bombing of US bases in Iraq, Syria

BAGHDAD, Jan. 15 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance in Iraq said it attacked three US bases in Iraq and Syria, using drones and missiles.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq – a grouping of Iraqi factions – announced that it had launched drone and rocket attacks against military bases housing US forces in both Iraq and Syria.

The US has 900 troops in Syria and 2,500 in Iraq on a mission it says advises and assists local forces.
