SHABWA, Jan. 13 (YPA) – Armed confrontations broke out on Saturday, injuring two gunmen, in the oil-rich province.
Local sources affirmed that the clashed between gunmen from two tribes of Maraziq and Al-Kharaz in Nissab area.
The sources added that light and medium weapons were used in the confrontations.
The leaders of the factions loyal to the coalition have contributed to fueling rebellions between the tribes, supplying some of them with money, weapons, and ammunition, and preoccupying the people of Shabwa with conflicts, so that they can continue to control the oil fields.
The oil-rich districts of Shabwa lack the most basic necessities of life, especially in water and health projects, which are devastating diseases due to oil pollution targeting citizens in various areas, while the plundering of oil revenues and the governorate’s revenues continues.
